Social innovation is a hallmark of the Barcelona City Council. It has been and is a key tool to advance towards the objective of reducing inequalities and protecting the social rights of the population.
To help in this way, Raona has collaborated with the Barcelona City Council’s Social Innovation area in the definition, design, development and monitoring of the results of an open-field ChatBot.
Due to the opening of emergency social aid for families with children from 0 to 16 years old, it was necessary to enable a new channel of communication and direct consultation and within the reach of all citizens, and that would complement the existing channels of habitual use.
By establishing this new communication channel, available from any browser and computer, citizens can quickly and directly access all aid-related content, simply by initiating the conversation with the ChatBot.
The presentation of the results of the Chatbot was made by Marc Mora, Magdalena Castro and David Bernal as the main managers of the project by Raona, and in the presence of the main managers of the Social Services areas of the Barcelona City Council
