Almirall, S.A. is a pharmaceutical company founded in 1943, headquartered in Barcelona. In 2016, it generated revenues of 859.3 million euros, consolidating its position as the largest R&D investor in the pharmaceutical sector in Spain.

With more than 1,750 employees, 53.5% of whom are women, the company has a presence in 13 countries in Europe and the US, and supports patients in more than 100 countries.

Almirall invests around 23% of its turnover in R&D. The company is deeply committed to sustainability, considering it essential to fulfill its purpose of improving patients’ lives and protecting the environment.

Almirall seeks to strengthen internal collaboration by adopting Smart Hub and Microsoft Teams. The goal is to encourage the use of
these tools, establish OKRs to measure their real impact on daily work and use real-time data with Power BI, allowing to adjust and optimize practices between teams.
